Tedium is a feeling that sometimes occurs in various people, especially in people with busy daily programs. Sometimes, people in these situations start to feel fed up anywhere in their life, especially while working, and this significantly drops the work efficiency of the people in this situation. Tedium occurs due to chronic daily pressures that start to damage the lackadaisical person. To mention, working women mostly become lackadaisical more common than men [2].

As you see in the graph upside, performance is affected by pressure. If there is no pressuring thing in your life, then you will be in a boreout situation. Meanwhile, burnout occurs when there is immense pressure in your daily life. As you see, moderate and high pressure is better than immense and insignificant amounts of stress; and it shows us the importance of controlling our pressuring factors. It is worth emphasizing that burnout is the situation of Tedium. As I mentioned, Tedium occurs when you are in a burnout-pressure situation.
Tedium is mostly accepted as a big problem by various communities. According to a survey, people prefer electric shock to being in a Tedium situation which is shocking, and this shows us that many people hate being alone in their daily lives. However, it is not to confuse loneliness with boredom. Boredom is the feeling when you have so many people around you, but you feel fed up with them. Meanwhile, loneliness is the feeling that most introverts have, they just feel better when they are alone because it is simply how their brains function.
We explained the effects of boredom on tedium to a detailed extent. Now, there is one more thing to stand on before finishing this article, and it is the effects of repetition on Tedium. As I mentioned, Tedium mostly occurs in people with huge responsibilities, and guess what: These responsibilities are mostly considered repetitive. This is what repetition has to do with Tedium: They are always doing the same thing so much that it starts to drain their energy. Repetition became a part of our life these days, especially due to an increase in the routine working system. The process of the increase in repetition started at the start of the Industrial Revolution as people now had stable programs of working, and it made life more boring to various people.
In conclusion, Tedium is a feeling that exists in people with a routine and busy lifestyle. All these factors I mentioned led them to this point. However, there are various methods to protect yourself from Tedium such as eating less and organizing upbeat walks. All those methods are pretty effective in overcoming the challenges [3]. We hope that people follow the methods to overcome Tedium and build themselves a better life.
